TechMaster Mobile is an IT support and education company that strives to make technology simpler for those who struggle to use it. Our mission is to reduce friction and frustration and make technology work better for the everyday user. Corporations and universities have dedicated IT support teams, so we are your residential IT support team.
Shaan Davis, the founder of TechMaster Mobile, is an experienced IT professional. He has always been the “tech guy” even as early as elementary school, helping teachers and peers with their classroom technology issues. He then went on to intern for a small IT support company in The Woodlands, TX, where he learned the type of support small businesses require to run their businesses effectively. He studied Management Information Systems at the University of Texas at Austin, blending his knowledge and passion for technology with business acumen. While there, he also worked at Information Technology Services, serving as a support representative for the entire university, fielding calls, email tickets, and walk-ups. He then took his classroom and ITS experience to the corporate world where he worked for two large corporations, applying what he learned to the real world. It was in his corporate experience that he realized that businesses seem to have IT support on standby and can afford it, but there was a major gap in the residential market. Users can of course take their devices to the Apple Genius Bar (R) or call the Best Buy Geek Squad (R), but both are large companies with large customer bases, meaning it can be frustrating. Shaan knows this as a customer himself; the long wait times, the lack of personalized care, and having to physically drive to a mall. When tech goes down, you want solutions right away.
